  Chapter 1

I looked warily at the rusted out puddle jumper that was to take us to our destination.

“What’s the matter Chase? You’re not scared are you?” Aubrey said with a mocking smirk.

“No. Why would I be? We’re only flying over a dangerous mountain range in the world’s oldest airplane. This thing should be in a museum! Seriously! It has propellers! Propellers for god’s sake!” I said only half joking. I hated flying anyway, let alone in the Wright brother’s actual plane. I was going to need a few shots of whiskey to get me through this one.

“Is Chase complaining again?” Daniel asked approaching with a duffel bag slung over each shoulder.

“I’m not complaining! Just pointing out that we’re probably all going to die.” I said.

Daniel laughed “The pilot said he’s been making this trip twice a week for twenty years. Although it would be just your luck for it to go down while you’re on board.”

“Tell me about it.” I said.

Daniel clapped a big hand on my shoulder. I saw the veins of his hands and forearm flex as a faraway look entered his eyes. He was gazing over the mountains. “Trust me. It’s going to be worth it. This cabin is one of a kind. It’s big and beautiful, built over a hundred years ago but with all the modern amenities. The lake it’s on is crystal clear and you can see straight through to the bottom. The views are unbelievable and the forests are majestic. Plus it’s one of the most secluded places in the entire country, and I know you want to get some alone time with Penny.” he said with a grin.

“What about me?” Penny said suddenly. I hadn’t even heard her walk over.

  “Nothing.” I said.

“Daniel what?” she said with her hands on her hips. She looked so cute when she was mad. She narrowed her eyes to slits and pursed her lips like an angry child.

  Daniel only shrugged.

“Ugh, whatever.” she said picking up her bag and bringing it over to the plane. The pilot took it from her and stuffed it into the cargo hold.

I tried not to stare but sometimes it was hard for me to take my eyes off of her. I thought she was so pretty. The wavy chestnut brown curls that hung down to her chin, her bright green eyes flecked with gold, the way her pink lips curled into a mischievous smile when she told a dirty joke. I liked the freckles that were sprinkled across her nose and her small, shapely, perky breasts. She stood on her tip toes trying to peek into one of the plane windows and I saw every muscle in her long thin legs flex and her ass tighten. She was perfect.

“So when are we leaving anyway?” I asked.

“It gets awfully foggy up on the mountain. We’ll leave as soon as the conditions are favorable.” Daniel said.

“When will that be?” I asked.

He shrugged “Who knows? It could be ten minutes, it could be ten hours.”

Suddenly the pilot waved to us and shouted something I couldn’t understand.

  “What’s he saying?” I asked.

“It’s time to go!” he smiled and rushed toward the plane. My stomach was in knots. I got nauseous on short commercial flights so this wasn’t going to be a walk in the park for me.

I picked up my bag and threw it in the cargo hold then pulled myself up the short staircase and took a seat on the back left side. Daniel was on the other side and Penny was squished in between us. Aubrey had the one window seat all to herself.

As soon as we were buckled in the engine roared to life and the propellers started spinning.

I clutched the seat not realizing that Penny’s hand was already there. I pulled it back but she looked me in the eyes and mouthed it’s alright over the deafening roar of the engines. I hesitantly put my hand back on the seat over hers but she shook it free and threaded her fingers through mine and leaned her head on my shoulder.

My heart was doing backflips. She’d never done anything like this before. Was she just being considerate, knowing how much I hated flying or was there something else there? Maybe Daniel was right. This week would be my chance to get to know her better. Much better.

Daniel reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a bottle of wild turkey. He took a slug and passed it to me.

“Well what do we have here?” The pilot said looking back with his hand outstretched.

“Sorry sir.” Daniel said passing the bottle up to him.

“No need to apologize” he said “For luck!” he tipped the bottle up and a third of it disappeared down his gullet then he handed it back to a stunned Daniel.

We all looked at each other warily and then the plane slowly turned and we were sailing down the runway.

“God I love this part! It never gets old!” the pilot shouted back to us as the plane lifted and we climbed gently into the sky.

I looked out the window and realized we were heading straight for the side of the mountain! There was no way were going to make it. This time Penny grabbed onto me. There was fear in both of our eyes. Daniel looked calm and relaxed and Aubrey was taking a selfie completely oblivious.

As the mountainside sped toward us we began climbing faster and faster, I held my breath and pulled Penny in tight until, just like that, we cleared it.

We continued to climb a few thousand feet above the range. Penny let go and sat back in her seat. She pulled out a book clearly somewhat embarrassed. I leaned my head against the window and looked down at the mountain tops. Daniel was right. The beauty of the place was apparent even from here. I could see the dense pines clinging to any flat surface and the snowy peaks with hot springs sprinkled throughout.

After about twenty minutes the mountains sloped down and there was nothing on the ground but thick woodlands and sparkling lakes. We reached a large grassy meadow and began to descend. Is this where we’re landing? I thought.

Sure enough the landing gear came out and we started descending. As we made our way down I saw a small grove of deciduous trees. Possibly oaks? It was strange because I hadn’t seen any within a 100 miles and we were so high up. I looked closer and there was a small pond in the center. Even from here I could tell there was something glittering in the water. What was it? Maybe just a trick of the light? Or perhaps I was plunging into the throes of altitude sickness. I made a mental note to check it out later.

The plane continued it’s downward path jumping when we hit air pockets and causing my stomach to lurch.

“Everybody hold on!” the pilot called back to us as the ground rapidly accelerated toward us. Penny grabbed onto me once again and I closed my eyes as the landing gear struck the dirt. We rattled to a stop about a half mile from where we’d touched down.

  Chapter 2

I hurried off the plane grateful to be on solid ground again. The pilot got out and opened the cargo hold and we pulled our bags out.

I looked around and realized there actually was something of a runway, two strips of relatively flat land, where the grass had been t
rampled over. There were lots of wildflowers growing in the meadow and all around us mountain peaks jutted out of the landscape. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and I felt the warm sunlight on my face.

We said our farewells to the pilot and watched as he turned the plane around and flew off into the distance.

“Come on, let’s get to the cabin. I’m in desperate need of some relaxation.” Daniel said making his way toward a large hill.

“Is that all you’re in desperate need of?” Aubrey said poking him in the ribs.

“Why don’t you follow me and find out?” he said jogging off ahead of her.

Penny rolled her eyes and we walked behind them.

“Where are we going anyway?” I called up to him as Aubrey chased him around.

  “There!” he said pointing upward.

There was a massive cabin about three quarters of the way up the hill.

I flinched “That’s going to take forever!” I said.

“No it won’t. It takes like 90 minutes.” he scoffed.

I was already feeling the weight of my pack and not looking forward to spending the first part of my vacation mountain climbing but it couldn’t be helped. I filled my lungs full of fresh mountain air and felt the wind rustle my hair then trotted off toward the trail.

The gentle slope gradually grew more intense the further we climbed. I was huffing and puffing before we even got to the trail. It only got more difficult from there. Aubrey and Daniel strode forward without any problems whatsoever. I kept resting against trees and on rocks. Penny did as well but I think she might have just been trying to make me feel better. How did I get so out of shape? I thought.

“I can’t believe I’m so bad at this!” I said laying flat on my back about halfway up the hillside.

“It’s the mountain air. It effects people differently. There’s not a lot of oxygen making it to your blood stream right now. Don’t worry you’ll get used to it.” Penny said with an encouraging smile.

My legs felt like lead. I lifted them with great effort over and over again. Each time I thought I couldn’t take another step I dug deep and managed to move my body a few more feet, until finally we arrived at the cabin.

Daniel and Aubrey were already relaxing in the hot tub on the wraparound balcony, drinks in hand. Aubrey was stripped down to her bra and panties and dripping wet. Her long red hair was soaking draped across one shoulder. Her long lithe body glistened in the sunlight and her little white bra barely contained her ample cleavage. The sight of her nearly naked gave me the strength I needed to push myself up the few dozen steps that led to the cabin entrance.

Penny came up behind me and playfully pushed against my lower back as I ascended the staircase. Once I reached the top I opened the door and collapsed on a long plush sofa in the living room. Penny sat down near my feet. I could tell she was tired as well. I took in the interior of the cabin. The walls were all wood and exposed brick. There was a large fireplace and above it hung a flat screen TV. The kitchen was opposite the living room and Penny got up and filled two glasses of water from the tap. She handed me one and I drank it down almost immediately.

“Thanks but where’s the good stuff?” I said feeling refreshed already.

She swallowed her water down as well and made her way back into the kitchen. “Found it!” she said.

She came back with two tumblers and a bottle of scotch whiskey. She filled a finger full in each glass and we clinked our glasses together before drinking them down. It burned and filled my belly with a pleasant warmth.

“Oh god! It tastes like battery acid!” Penny said coughing.

“Not a scotch drinker eh?” I said.

“Not much of a drinker at all. You know that Chase.”

I looked out the window and saw that Daniel and Aubrey were still lounging in the hot tub. Daniel had his arms spread out and was leaning his head back looking up at the sky. Aubrey was nestled up against his chest.

“Shall we have another and then go exploring?” I asked.

“Sure.” Penny replied pouring a bit of scotch into each of our glasses. She braced herself and then quickly exhaled before tipping her glass up again. I took my shot at the same time. She stuck her tongue out and coughed again then smiled.

We found the master bedroom on the main floor. Daniel and Aubrey had already claimed it by putting their bags on the bed. It had a massive king size bed and a large picture window looking out into the forest. There was a deer head hanging over the bed.

“Ugh, gross. I hope my room doesn’t have one of those” Penny said pointing to it.

We went upstairs and snooped around. There was a room with several hunting rifles and antique pistols hanging on the walls and books scattered everywhere. There were two bedrooms next to each other that were nearly identical. Large beds, antique furniture, and bearskin rugs in front of a fireplace.

We each put our bags in our respective rooms and were on our way downstairs to the hot tub when I heard Penny say “What is this?”

She’d found an old door that led outside to a rooftop balcony.

“This place just keeps getting better and better.” she said.

I nodded my head in agreement and we walked out onto the terrace. It was large and the view was spectacular. We could see all the mountains that surrounded us and on the other side of the cabin to the one we’d entered I saw the lake that Daniel had mentioned. I peeked over the edge in order to wave to Daniel and Aubrey but stopped when I saw what they were up to.

Aubrey was topless and sitting in Daniel’s lap. Her breasts were magnificent, large and shapely with two hard pink nipples. I could hear the water splashing rhythmically as she straddled Daniel and bounced up and down. Her tits slapped against her chest with each bounce and I could hear their barely stifled moans of pleasure.

I waved Penny over and pointed down with a smirk on my face. She put a hand in front of her face to hide her shocked expression and then grinned.

“Those two couldn’t even wait twenty minutes.” she said.

“I know! What if we had come out and caught them? Were they just going to stop?” I said.

“Knowing them, they’d probably just keep going.” she said then sighed “I wish I’d come up here with a boyfriend.”

I could see her skin growing a bit flush. She was clearly turned on. So was I.

“Me too. I haven’t had sex in...” I trailed off “You probably don’t want to hear this”

“No go on. Tell me and I’ll tell you.” she said.

  “It’s embarrassing.” I said.

“Okay we’ll go at the same time. One, Two,”

“Six months!” we both said in unison.

I looked at her in surprise “Really?”

  She nodded.

“But I mean, you’re, you could have sex with anyone you wanted.” I said.

“I just haven’t found the right person I guess.” she said “What about you? Is there anyone you’re interested in?”

As she asked this we both heard Aubrey’s cries of ecstasy get louder and the splashing of the water grew more frenzied.

I looked down. I couldn’t believe I was even having this conversation. I was a little tipsy which didn’t hurt. I was agonizing internally over whether I should tell her the truth. It seemed like if there was any moment to do it this would be it. But what if she laughed at me? What if it made the whole trip awkward.

  “There is someone.” I said.

“Who is it?” she asked innocently.

“Um, this is kind of awkward but…” I trailed off.

“Are you saying that it’s…” she pointed to herself with an expression genuine surprise.

“Sorry. I should have kept my mouth shut. I don’t know what I was thinking.” I immediately regretted saying anything. She looked down at her shoes and hugged herself then a mischievous look crossed her face and she said “Aw, fuck it.” then made her way toward me.

  Chapter 3

She pulled me down by the collar,
put her hands on my cheeks and kissed me deeply and passionately on the mouth. I was shocked. I couldn’t believe this was actually happening. I’d lusted after for so long and now it was finally happening. I wrapped my arms around the small of her back and rubbed her ass over her short cotton shorts.

I could feel the outline of her thong underwear underneath.

Her tongue twirled around mine and I tasted her sweet breath as she moaned into me. She ran her hands up and down my back muscles and pressed her breasts into me. She smiled and stepped back then pulled her top over her head and unclasped her bra letting it fall to the ground.
